| Quantel Takes On Two New U.S. Hires |

Quantel has appointed Ken Clark as its new Western regional sales manager to accommodate the company’s growing sales and marketing staff in North America covering the Broadcast, Post, Film and DI markets. In addition, Steven Brant was hired as broadcast solutions architect.
Clark brings 14 years experience in the post and broadcast industry to the position, having most recently served as a sales representative for 5280 Digital Inc. Prior to that, he worked for Avid Technology for 10 years as a channel sales manager, direct sales rep and applications engineer.
In his role as broadcast solutions architect, Brant will assist Quantel in the design of all enterprise systems for broadcasters across North America. Brant’s previous experience includes working for Sinclair Broadcasting Group as a regional engineering manager for systems and studio design, as well as three years with Leitch as regional manager of TV Studio and Systems.
Clark and Brant will report to Tom McGowan, CEO of Quantel North America.
“Both of these talented additions bring a great collection of knowledge and skill to our growing sales and technical team,” said McGowan. “They are well-seasoned, industry professionals with an in-depth understanding of the broadcast and post markets. We are thrilled to have them assisting us in our expansion efforts.”
